MANILA, Philippines - The University of Santo Tomas Arts and Letters Alumni Association (USTAAA) will hold its first golf invitational on Feb. 19 at the Sun Valley, Cogeo, Antipolo City in celebration of its 45th foundation year.
The tournament is being hosted by UST AB batch ‘84, this year’s silver jubilarians for the benefit of Childhouse and is open to all golf enthusiasts, AB alumni and guests.
A hole-in-one bonanza, trophies for individual honors and batch competition plus raffle prizes, including round-trip tickets to the US and Hong Kong await all participants. This event is expected to gather a number of players from various golfing circuits.
The first USTAAA golf tournament is being presented by Skynet Travel, Hyundai, Thai Air, Grepalife, Wallem Phil., Amadeus, United Auctioneers, Eva Air, Gatorade, Globe and DBP Service Corp.
Minor sponsors are China Airlines, Red Images, Hongkong Express Airlines, Nestle and Northwest Airlines.
The tournament fee of P 3,000 includes green fee, golf cart, buffet lunch and raffle coupon. Registration starts at 5:30 a.m. and tee-off at 7 a.m.
