La Salle College-Antipolo and St. Scholastica’s College scored contrasting wins Sunday to start their bids in the High School Competitive Division of the Milo-Women’s Volleyball League on a high note at the Xavier school gym.
La Salle took the hard route in beating San Antonio de Padua College, 24-26, 27-25, 26-24, to claim the early Group A lead with St. Scholastica’s, which easily trounced School of St. Anthony, 25-10, 25-13.
St. Mary’s College dropped PWU-JASMS, 25-20, 25-21, to share the early Group B lead with St. James Academy, which beat Holy Family School, 25-12, 25-21.
