US entries vie in NCA derby today

Four topnotch American cockers join the hunt for top honors in the National Cocker’s Alliance (NCA) derby today at the Ynares Center in Pasig City.

George Torres, James Campbell and Norland Rockwell, along with Larry Whitehead of Tennessee have all vowed to capture the trophy in the event hosted by Gerry Ramos and Ferdie Buensalida.

Also in the fold are Claude Bautista, Cong. Tony Co, Rey Briones and former Rep. Butch Pichay.

The event serves as a prelude to the NCA World Championship Slasher Derby slated Jan. 13, 15 and 17, also at the Ynares Center.

The other US gamefowl enthusiasts joining the NCA World Slasher are Wayne Spurlock, Romy Arciaga, Damon Yorkman, JV Magsaysay, Carl Stichard of Ohio, Dan Gray and Ray Alexander.
