Nationals demolish Viet five

The Smart-Pilipinas National Team unleashed a torrid running game throughout to demolish Vietnam, 108-62, in a smashing debut in the first China-Asean Invitational Tournament in Pingguo, China yesterday.

The Nationals also sustained a pressure defense on the hapless Vietnamese en route to the one-sided win.

Six players scored in double figures for the RP team led by 6-foot-9 Fil-Am Greg Slaughter of the University of the Visayas with 20 points.

Far Eastern’s Mark Barocca chipped in 18 points while San Beda’s Ogie Menor had 15.
