NCA derby slated Dec. 16

The best of Philippine cockfighting mix it up in the National Cockers’ Alliance (NCA) derby on Dec. 16 with Rep. Iggy Arroyo hosting the annual event.

Arroyo, the reigning NCA Cocker of the Year, and last year’s runner-up Patrick Antonio are expected to slug it out for NCA supremacy for the second straight year.

Out to foil the duo’s bid are Gov. Joel Reyes, Gov. Plaza, Rep. Ferrer, Rep. Codilla, Rep. Kho, Rep. Alvares, Rep. Celeste, Rep. Bautista and Rep. Delos Santos along with Gerry Espina, Jet Fernando, Toni Marfori, Bebot Roxas, Edwin Javelosa, Joey and Buboy delos Santos;

Monching Cecilio, Leng Tuaño, Jerome dela Rosa, Ramon Aquino, Vic Angeles, Bong Co, Dir. Pipo, Gen. Dela Cruz, Claro Maranan, Mon-Mon Arriola, Jack Yap, Engr. Nicolas and N. Gualberto.

The next NCA derby, slated Jan. 6, will be hosted by Jerry Ramos and Ferdie Bautista.

Meanwhile, the NCA gears up for the World Championship Derby on Jan. 13, 15 and 17 with Ricky Valencia and Boy de Roca as defending champions.
