Thunderbird's Lagon, Palmares seek title NCRAA
Two of the leading members of the Thunderbird winning team – Sonny Lagon of Laguna Gamefowl Breeders Association (LAGBA) and Ricoy Palmares of the Panay Gamefowl Breeders Association (PAGBA) – are among 41 undefeated entries set to battle it out with their finest gamebirds when the championship of the historic 2008 P20M Bakbakan 10-Stag National Derby takes center stage today at the Araneta Coliseum.
Lagon will rely on his new Blue Blade Sweater crosses, while Palmares is expected to wave the banner for the Ilonggo cockers after coming out of the floods that inundated most of Panay’s rooster farms early this year.
Meanwhile, Thunderbird Power Vet brand manager Albert Uy said reigning World Slasher champ Honey Yu has signed up as member of the elite Thunderbird winning team.
