Baron Travel president Marilen Yaptangco fired a net 71 to top the ladies division of the eighth Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Golf Cup held recently at the plush Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club in Cavite City.
Gary Sales of recruitment firm Staff Masters Inc. ruled the overall championship after posting a net score of 69 that included three birdies.
Other winners included Michael Francis Moraga, Lorenzo Samson, and Atty. Rudy Panagitan in the men’s A, B, C divisions, respectively.
With 110 players participating, the latest edition of the PTAA Golf Cup was sponsored by Philippine Airlines, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Northwest Airlines, Thai Airways, Continental Airways, and Galileo Asia by Travelport.
It was also supported by Abacus Distribution System, Amadeus Philippines, Callaway Golf, Japan Airlines, Prudential Guarantee & Assurance Inc., and Security Bank.
