FBL semifinals slated at San Beda-Alabang

The NCR Futures Basketball League (FBL) enters its semifinals in all its four divisions on Sunday at the San Beda College-Alabang covered courts.

In the girl’s junior division defending champion and top-ranked Adamson goes for a finals slot against No.4 MISA while second ranked team host San Beda faces third ranked De La Salle-Zobel in the other semifinal match.

The boys’ juniors will have defending champion UST playing Letran while San Beda meets Adamson for the right to square off in the championship of the tournament presented by Primovit Multivitamins and supported by Gatorade, Bacchus Energy drink, Purefoods TJ Hotdogs, Philips Gadgets, and Accord Capital.

Last Sunday, UST blanked Benigno Aquino, 30-0, Letran walloped San Sebastian-A, 108-66, Adamson was a 50-44 winner over De La Salle-Zobel, and San Beda defeated ALLS, 68-41, to formalize their entry into the semifinal round.

Midgets division has Group A top-ranked San Beda playing Group B second-ranked Don Bosco Technical Institute and in the other semifinal match-up, De La Salle-Zobel, which topped Group B goes for a win against Don Bosco Technical College.

results of the games in the midgets division last sunday were DBTC 30 - Sta. Clara 0 , Holy Trinity Academy 31, San Sebastian 17, DLSZ beat DBTI 52 - 45, Xavier over COLF, 44 - 23 while Multiple Intelligence and Xavier School were forfeited game winners over San Sebastian and Colegio de San Agustin, 30 - 0.

The mini division will have Xavier and Holy Trinity Academy squaring off against one another in the first semifinal match, to be followed by the Don Bosco Technical Institute-La Salle-Greenhills game.

Games start at 9:00 AM.
