FVR at Seniors golf tournament

Former President Fidel V. Ramos leads participants in the First Invitational Seniors Golf Tournament on Dec. 11 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The tournament is organized by SENIORS Monthly, a general-circulation magazine for senior citizens, edited by former Press Secretary Rodolfo Reyes.

Tournament format is handicap play. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. Tee-off time is 7:30 a.m. (shotgun).

Major sponsors are Unilab’s HAVit-All (“The multi-vitamin that fights aging from within”), San Miguel Corporation, San Mig Coffee, Honda Cars, Pagcor, and Air-21.

A Honda Accord awaits the senior golfer who makes a hole in one.

Other sponsors and raffle-prize donors are Philippine Airlines, Sea Air, Whealth, New Kanlaon Construction and AVESCO..

Among the early registrants are senior members of the Orchard and Southwoods Golf Clubs, the Federation of Philippine Amateur Senior Golfers and the Tahanan Village Golf Club.
