Eagle Ridge tilt stakes three cars

-

The Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, the country’s biggest golf club, is set to give away three Toyota Vios sedans in its annual member-guest tournament Dec. 12-13.

Both members of a team will each drive home a Vios if the members’ name is picked in the raffle for the main prize of the event dubbed as the Fore by Four Invitational. The third Vios is for a separate raffle exclusive to members.

Toyota Motor Philippines is also providing cars as hole-in-one prizes.

The country’s largest golf club will accommodate more than 600 players-members and guests for the event and yet will need just two days to complete everything.

The four championship courses designed by Nick Faldo, Isao Aoki, Greg Norman and Andy Dye will all be put into best possible shape for the competitions, organizers said.

The Fore by Four’s early roster of major sponsors includes Toyota Motor Philippines, Inc., WG Golf, PacSports, SG Enterprises, Aqua Dyne and Inquirer Golf/Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Meanwhile, Moon Ho Lee scored a 70 then edged Choi Seoung Chon in the countback for the Class A tournament in the year’s final monthly tournament for members.

The other winners were Rex Armada in Class B, Abel Santos Class C, Greg Poblador Class D, Hyeong Taek Oh Seniors I, Sadamu Fujimoto Seniors II, Maricris Choi Ladies A and Teresita Rutherford ladies B. Carlo Dones and Pauline del Rosario were the dependents’ winners.

The members’ published club handicap index as of November 2008 will be used as the team handicap for the Fore by Four. The guest partner will submit his/her lowest November 2007 handicap index in any club of which he/she is a member. Maximum handicap index for guest-partner on the course they are playing is 21.
