Jr NBA clinic up at SM Marikina

The Jr NBA Phils. will hold a basketball clinic tomorrow and Sunday with a banner field of kids expected to show up at SM Marikina.

The Jr. NBA Open Clinic is specially designed for kids who do not belong to the participating schools in the Jr. NBA Program 2008. Open Clinic schedules are today and tomorrow at SM Marikina and on Jan. 10-11 at the Ayala Mall in Cebu (11 a.m.-6 p.m.).

Gracing the event, set at 2 p.m., are Carlo Singson, senior manager of Marketing Partnerships, NBA Asia, Dr. Francis Gomez, COO of New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corp., former PBA stars Benjie Paras and Jolly Escobar plus surprise celebrity guests.

Jr. NBA Philippines 2008 presented by Hi-Smart is the second consecutive Jr. NBA program in the country. This year, the program will run until March 1, 2009.
