Manglicmot reigns in ABC circuit bowl

Dante Manglicmot of Lepanto Tiles waxed hot with an eight-game total of 1942 pinfalls to rule the Architects Bowling Club’s circuit championship at the Green Valley Bowling lanes in Pasig last week.

Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled 1920, falling short of scoring a perfect game twice with 289 and 299 and settling for runner-up in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints scored 1870, Walter Villanueva of Crown Pipes had 1697 and Tony Naval of Emerald Vinyl submitted 1687 to place third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Hocheng Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Pansun Pipetech Corp., Ragojos Heritage Constructions, Medwest Tech. Inst., Pacific World Building Mgmt., Firefly Lightings, DN Steel, Felport Marketing, ABC Phils., Sika Phils. Inc. and Supreme Steel Pipe Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the fourth quarterly championship, also at the Green Valley Lanes on C-5 Road.
