It’s on to the Singha-Thailand Junior World for Jobim Carlos, Regina de Guzman and two others after they topped the Jungolf School Season Tournament that served as the qualifier recently at the Royal Northwoods course in San Rafael, Bulacan.
Carlos (72) and De Guzman (78), who topped the Class A division for boys and girls, respectively, will be joined by second placers Gus Pacheco and Irina Gabasa as the country’s official representatives to the Thailand meet on Dec. 11-14.
Marvi Monsalve, Maan Legaspi, Daniella Uy, Dion Asencio, Patrick Uy, LJ Go, Gio Gandionco, Francis Olea, VJ Vasandani and Rachita Vasandani will also participate in the Thailand Junior World.
The other winners of the Northwoods tourney were Kevin Orillos and Sugie Kwak in Class B, Justin Quiban and Daniela Uy in Class C, Kristoffer Arevalo and Denise Quimbo in Class D, Delfin Trinos and Asha Nocum in Class E and Josh Jorge in Class F.
The Jungols School Season and Yearend tournament is also supported by PAL, DOT, PAGCOR, San Miguel Corporation and Diamond Motor Philippines
Meanwhile, Royal Northwoods will also host the Jungolf 32nd anniversary Christmas tourney and elections on Dec. 7.
Jungolf members and alumni are invited to join. Entry fee is P1,000. Deadline for registration is Dec. 1.
