With the semis cast completed, University of Santo Tomas and San Sebastian try to choose their ranking in the Final Four as they take on ousted rivals at the close of the elims in the Shakey’s V-League second conference at The Arena in San Juan City today.
The Tigresses go for the No. 1 spot as they play the Ateneo Lady Eagles in the 4 p.m. main game, looking for their sixth win against a lone setback in the league sponsored by Shakey’s Pizza.
The Lady Stags, who clinched the fourth and last semis berth with a victory over the Adamson Falcons last Sunday, battle the St. Benilde Lady Blazers at 2 p.m with an option of finishing either No. 2 for a possible semis date with the La Salle Lady Archers or at No. 4 for a clash with the Tigresses.
Victories by UST and San Sebastian will give the Tigresses the No. 1 spot in the Final Four with a 6-1 slate with the Lady Stags tying the Archers and the Falcons at 5-2.
The triple tie for second will be resolved by the FIVB quotient system.
