FVR graces Red Cross golf

Former President Ramos will be the guest of honor for the ceremonial tee-off of the first Red Cross annual golf tournament slated at the Manila Southwoods this coming Friday.

The participation of Ramos in the special fundraiser meet was announced by Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) governor Rodolfo Reyes and PNRC director Nestor Isla.

Reyes said the tournament aims to fund the various disaster management, health, welfare, safety and blood services of the PNRC.

“Play golf and save lives,” Reyes said in the forum sponsored by Shakey’s, Accel, Brickroad gym and Aspen spa and MedCentral Medical Clinic and Diagnostic Center.

A brand-new Nissan Sentra and a Ford Escape await the hole-in-one winners as well as one golf cart and one unit of motorcycle.

Major prizes, trophies, gift certificates and minor prizes await the winners, while gift packages will be given to all participants upon registration.

Interested participants may avail of the tickets pegged at P3,500 at the different clubhouse association of golfers.

Tee-off time is 8 a.m.
