The 2008 Carrera Habagat Adventure Race unfolds next month in Sto. Domingo, Albay with a record turnout seen in cross-country running, mountain biking, paddling and climbing among others.
“We’ve always had a lot of teams from across the country, especially those coming from Manila and Eastern Visayas. This year, teams from the north will join the event,” said Nadine Vallejos, event coordinator.
The country’s top adventure racing teams, led by multi-awarded Team Santorini and the Philippine Mount Everest Team, lead the cast in the event co-presented by Habagat and the Sto. Domingo Municipality under the auspices of Mayor Celso de los Angeles.
Habagat Outdoor Equipment is the country’s popular brand of outdoor equipment and adventure racing gear.
