Ardina, spearhead of the ICTSI-backed national pool who steered RP to a best-ever runner-up finish in the Queen Sirikit Cup at The Country Club last week, is seeking to match or better his six-victory romp abroad last year with the 13-year-old shotmaker tipped as one of the players to watch in the three-day event which drew 119 players, including 62 bets from eight nations.
Joining Ardina, winner of the Junior World, the Singapore and Hong Kong Opens, Asia Pacific, Asean Juniors and the US Kids championship, in the Thailand Ladies are Cyna Rodriguez, also a Junior World champion, Mia Piccio, Chihiro Ikeda, Bambee de la Paz, Linnel de Villa and Asian Games veteran Anya Tanpinco.
Malaysia and Japan have the most number of entries with 14 and 13 players, respectively, Hong Kong and Singapore have eight entries, the Philippines has six, the United States and Indonesia have four each and India has one.
