Henkel-Sista got tremendous boost from the returning Samigue Eman as it trounced Cebuana Lhuillier-Pera Padala, 77-69, yesterday in the PBL Silver Cup at the Parañaque Sports Center.
Eman contributed six rebounds, three points and two blocks for the Super Sealers who closed in on the league-leading Hapee-PCU side on their fourth win in six starts.
Marcy Arellano paced the team with 18 points with Gilbert Malabanan and Lawrence Bonus adding 13 apiece.
"Hes still adjusting with his teammates and our system but he was certainly of help in this win," said Henkel-Sista coach Caloy Garcia of his 6-foot-9 slotman.
Doug Kramer, Ken Bono and Macky Escalona combined for 50 points but drew meager support from their teammates as they suffered their third loss against two wins.
In the other game, TeleTech withstood Magnolia Ice Creams fourth-quarter comeback, pulling off a 76-70 win to tie Mail and More at third place on their identical 3-2 records. Joey Villar
