LAS VEGAS A trip to Rome and a visit to the Vatican City.
Win or lose, Manny Pacquiao said hes looking forward to this type of vacation after his scheduled fight against Mexicos Erik Morales on Saturday.
"Ive never been to that place. I want to see Rome and visit the Vatican," said the 27-year-old Filipino inside his spacious, expensive room at the Tower Suites section of Wynn Hotel.
Pacquiao said hes planning to fly back to Manila Nov. 22.
Pacquiao was originally scheduled to return home on the 25th but a mini-concert he was supposed to hold here in Vegas with Black-Eyed Peas had to be called off.
Another concert is being set in Manila by December for Pacquiao, whos also into recording.
Normally, Pacquiaos kids, now three of them following the birth of baby girl Mary Divine Grace last October, are left behind when the boxer fights in the US.
But Pacquiao sees to it that he brings the kids abroad, too. They went to the US last year and took a three-day picnic at Hong Kong Disneyland last March.
Pacquiao did not say whether he and wife Jinkee would bring the kids to Rome if ever the trip pushes through probably early next year.
Pacquiao has been here in the US since September, training for two months at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles before motoring to Sin City last Sunday.
Pacquiao has been away from his children for so long and in fact has never seen their new-born baby except through pictures and videos. He just cant wait to see them. Abac Cordero
