Cage celebrities tackle Aurorans

BALER, Aurora A crack team of cage celebrities, led by action stars Philip Salvador, Ronnie Ricketts and Ian Veneracion will pit brains and brawns against a local selection, to be bannered by House deputy minority leader Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara and Rommel Angara in the provincial government-sponsored "Aurorans vs Celebrities" basketball game set this Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Dr. Juan Angara Sports Complex here.
Aurora Gov. Bellaflor Angara-Castillo said the basketball game will be for the benefit of people with disabilities (PWDs), indigenous peoples, youth and women.
She said proceeds from the game will be used to finance the construction of the People Empowerment Center (PEC) of her administration.
"This is part of my six-point integrated development agenda for the province of Aurora anchored on HEALTH which stands for health, education, agriculture, livelihood, trade and human resource development," she said. Manny Galvez
