Father of aikido in SEA holds seminar in Cebu

Cebu will host the Fukakusa Shihan Aikido & Weapons International Seminar on June 9-11 at the Sacred Heart Center Sports Club, Sacred Heart Complex on D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.
The seminar will be attended by over a hundred participants from different parts of Asia, Australia and the Philippines.
It promises to be filled with a variety of practice sessions, both empty hand techniques and weapons, demonstrations and promotional examinations for both colored and black belts.
Motohiro Fukakusa Shihan, seventh dan, Aikikai, who will conduct the training, is known as the father of aikido in Southeast Asia. He introduced aikido in Thailand in 1964 and founded the Aikido Association of Thailand in 1975.
