Clark hosts Asian duathlon

CLARK ZONE, Pampanga - Some 50 top duathletes from 10 Asian counrtries are set to compete in this years Asian duathlon championships set April 9 at the Clark Expo (formerly Expo Pilipino) inside the special economic zone here, officials of Clark Development Corp. (CDC) said yesterday.
CDC customer services head Frank Madlangbayan said Philippine bet Ryan Mendoza and his teammates will be going up against the best duathletes from all over Asia in their bid for a place in the world championships in Canada.
Among the countries expected to field their entries are Japan, South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Uzbekistan and Indonesia. Ric Sapnu
