‘X-Mas Treat’ winners

What a turnout! More than 5,000 entries for our "Christmas Treat" quiz flooded our Port Area office lobby in what had to be an all-time record for a STAR Sports contest. Cutoff for submission of entries was yesterday and a rush of latecomers barely beat the deadline at 5 p.m.

The entries came from all over the country–Cebu, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Ilocos Sur and Norte, Pangasinan, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Benguet, Bataan, Zambales, Camarines Norte and Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Cagayan de Oro, Basilan, Isabela and lots more.

We’ve picked 30 lucky winners.

The first prize winner is Susan Martin, a caregiver, of Block 27, Lot 56, Phase 2-A-1 Kaunlaran Village, Navotas. Frankie Lim, a backpack, pillow, towel and umbrella from Airfreight 2100’s Lito Alvarez, a PBA giant jigsaw puzzle from Shell’s Bobby Kanapi, a Barangay Ginebra shirt and San Miguel Beer shirt from San Miguel Corp.’s Robert Non and a SEA Games shirt, a badminton set and a Molten two-color basketball from Sonia Trading’s Anil Buxani.

That’s not all. Prizes are still coming in from Sta.
