STAR exec tonight on Badminton Extreme

Finally, an exclusive show for badminton enthusiasts has landed on Philippine TV. Whether youre a beginner, a pro or just a plain spectator, "Badminton Extreme" always has something to update and gear you up on the fast-growing sport in the country.
Theres also more to the show than badminton as it offers a perfect dose of entertainment, leisure and health tips to package ones total well-being.
In this weeks episode, get up close and personal with Chinas top female shuttler Zhang Ning, TV hunk Polo Ravales and his badminton escapades, and Phil. STAR president and CEO Miguel Belmonte, who believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance that includes badminton and sports.
Happenings at the recently-concluded 2005 Yonex Sunrise Philippines National Badminton Open are also featured tonight on Badminton Extreme, along with tips on protecting yourself from Yenzie Shenyoza, who discusses the art of self-defense called Krav Maga. For your weekly dose of free badminton lessons, badminton guru Nelson Asuncion also tells you how to quicken your movements inside the court in his special segment called ABC-X.
"Badminton Extreme" is hosted by coach Nelson Asuncion, Maresciel Yao, and the countrys top badminton siblings Kennie and Vic Asuncion. Directed by Gabs Ramos, the program airs on Studio 23 every Sunday at 11:30 p.m.
