Seigles among 34 free agents in post season

Brothers Danny and Andy Seigle were among 34 players who became free agents in the Philippine Basketball Association Saturday.
Jerry Codiñera and two others had their contracts expired earlier last June 30, and 33 other players will have their own pacts lapsing between July 31 and Dec. 31.
Thus, the front offices of the 10 ball clubs are likely to hum with several wheeling and dealings this PBA break.
Aside from the Seigle brothers, other players whose contracts expired Saturday were Ginebras Egay Echavez, Marlon Basco, Aris Dimaunahan, Estong Ballesteros, Bal David, Rodney Santos, Banjo Calpito and James Wallkvist, San Miguels Rysal Castro, Francis Adriano, Anton Villoria, Joey Mente, Arnold Gamboa and Gilbert Malabanan, Purefoods Tonyboy Espinosa and Gilbert Demape, Red Bulls Jimwell Torion and Bryan Gahol, Alaskas Noli Locsin, Rob Johnson, Eugene Tejada, Rob Duat and Bong Hawkins, Coca-Colas Poch Juinio, Jeck Chia, Gilbert Lao, Leo Avenido and Manny Ramos, Shells Marlon Legaspi, Celino Cruz, Kalani Ferreria, Rensy Bajar and Carlo Sharma, Sta. Lucias Joseph Gumatay, and Talk n Texts Niño Gelig and Don Camaso.
Dennis Madrid ends his short deal with Purefoods on Aug. 20 and Peter June Simon and Richard Yee also with Purefoods on Sept. 30, the same date Gary David ends his pact with FedEx and William Antonio and Rafi Reavis with Coca-Cola.
Ryan Bernardo sees the end of his deal with Red Bull on Oct. 31. At the end of the year, several key players need to re-negotiate and these include Alaskas Mike Cortez and Brandon Cablay, Purefoods Noy Castillo, San Miguels Olsen Racela, Sta. Lucias Marlou Aquino and Talk n Texts Jimmy Alapag.

Maria, Jun Marzan, Roger Yap, Ronald Tubid, Christian Calaguio and Billy Mamaril, Sta. Lucias Paolo Mendoza, and Talk n Texts Harvey Carey and Bong Ravena.
Enrico Villanuevas own previous contract is actually expiring on Dec. 31 but hes been re-signed to a new pact early this year.
At Shell, only Rich Alvarez, Tony dela Cruz and Ervin Sotto will remain with live contracts after Dec. 31. The Turbochargers have been told to wait for notice while the teams London-based mother company is still evaluating the viability of maintaining its PBA franchise.
