RP faces Lebanon in Davis Cup tie

The countrys top netters led by Johnny Arcilla and Patrick John Tierro will have to play with high intensity against Lebanon as the Philippines tries to secure the tie for the Davis Cup second round Asia-Oceania Group II playoffs in Beirut, Lebanon.
Arcilla, Tierro, Rolando Ruel Jr. and Adelo Abadia are expected to give their best to beat Lebanon after they lost to Korea during the first round of the Asia-Oceania Zone last March.
Philippine Davis Cup team manager Jean Henri Lhuillier has been strongly supporting the team and he has provided the players a comprehensive training program to keep them in top condition.
Davis Cup is the largest annual international team competition in world sports with a rich 104-year history. The Philippines is currently ranked 67.
