May 4, 2005 | 12:00am
Red Bull is holding a basketball camp that attempts to be different from the more established but commercialized cage clinics.
Dubbed "The Red Bull Basketball Camp 2005," the clinic is offering a more modified approach for enrollees to learn the game of basketball.
The six-day camp being held in cooperation with ACCEL is limited to only 40 applicants, allowing for a personalized method of learning new techniques, skills, ideas and philosophies in playing the game.
Red Bull coach Yeng Guiao, a four-time champion mentor in the PBA, leads the facilitators in-charge of the camp set May 14, 15, 18, 26, 28 and 29, from 2-4 p.m. at the RFM gym in Mandaluyong.
Joining Guiao are his Red Bull assistants Gee Abanilla, a former La Salle stalwart, former cage great Rhoel Nadurata, Rudy Hines and Edward Addison, the American conditioning and training coach of the Red Bull team.
