Racing festival today at Carmona

Three high-prized races cap Manila Jockey Club’s 2005 Summer Racing Festival today at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.

Dubbed as the "Philippine-Saudi Arabian Friendship Day," today’s card of 13 races will be highlighted with the "Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Cup," in honor of Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will be participated in by top three-year-old runners which include Chairman’s Cup winner Speed Majesty (LD Balboa 54) and stablemate Speed Advantage (FM Raquel Jr 54) from the Yutadco stable, Real Spicy (PR Dilema 54) and War Alert (MF Daquis 54) from the Esguerra Stable, Full of Fury (JT Zarate 52), Vivere (EF Salvador 52) and Thywillbedone (ES Aguila 54).

The President Arroyo Cup in honor of President Arroyo will be joined in by chargers four years old and above. — Ramon Romualdez
