A field of about 180 players will be aiming for the top awards not just in the 72-hole championship class but in the 36-hole battles in Class A, B, C and D of the mens division and the ladies Class A, B and C.
The Samsung Tour competitions fire off John Hays year-end calendar of major events to be capped by the Fil-Am championships in December.

"Its the best time to play golf in Baguio and the course just couldnt have a better condition than what it has now," said head organizer Boy Blue Ocampo.
Ocampo also lauded the support of the Camp John Hay Devt Co. and Fil-Estate through Camp John Hay golf manager Bong Vilchez who has been on top of the course preparations.
After this weeks Baguio leg, the last eliminations stop will be played at Cebu Country Club Dec. 14-17.
