Guevarra poured in 14 points in the first quarter alone to set the tone of the rout as the Jr. Hotdogs closed their elimination schedule with a 3-1 mark. The Jr. Kings finished with a 2-2 card.

FedEx-San Juan topped Group A following a 124-56 romp of Alaska-Mandaluyong last Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

Ryan Christopher Monteclaro turned in 32 points while Gary Valdez and Andrei Zulueta had 19 and 13 points, respectively, for the Jr. Express, who remained unbeaten in four games while dealing the Jr. Aces their third straight loss.

Fedex-San Juan and Purefoods-Taguig will go up against the top two teams of Group B in the crossover semifinal.

In the other game Saturday, San Miguel-Malabon ran away with an 87-56 victory over Red Bull-Pasay to stay in contention for a semifinal spot in Group B.

It was the second win in three games for the Jr. Beermen, who were tied in second spot with Shell-Manila. The young Barakos suffered their third loss in four games.
