John Hay to stage golf invitational March 19-20

Coming on the heels of the major member-guest events in Metro Manila, the countrys top golfing destination in the north will stage the second Camp John Hay Invitational golf tournament on March 19-20 in Baguio City.
The 36-hole tourney where members get to pair with their invited guest partners will be using two different formats for both days with teams playing scramble in the first round and best-ball in the other round.
Exciting prizes await the winners of the tourney, which kicks off the series of summer events at the world-class John Hay facility. Each of the expected 144 entries will receive a signature golf bag as a giveaway.
Making up the sponsors are Smart Communications, Camp John Hay Golf Club, Camp John Hay Manor Hotel, Le Chef at the Manor, KORK Inc., F&B Systems&Services, Filling Station: Hotshots&Figaro Coffee, Federal Management and Maintenance, Inc. and Golforce.
The clubs board of directors headed by chairman of the board Robert John Sobrepeña will be showing up in full force for the event. The other board members are Atty. Enrique Sobrepeña Jr., Noel Cariño, Atty. Ferdinand Santos, Engr. Francisco Gonzalez, Rafael Perez de Tagle, Architect Ruben Payumo, Alfredo Mendoza and Atty. Rafael Evangelista.
Comm. Benigno Cabrieto, chief operating officer of CJH Development Corp., and Shean Bedi, SVP for Marketing and Sales of CJHDC, are also in the field.
Early member registrants include Marcelo Alfonso who will team up with Gov. Tomas Joson, Wolfgang Prooi, Mike Anton, Vads Navarette, Engr. Benjie Aquino, Ma. Luisa Bautista, Sagat Giron and Mario Naval.
Entry fee is P4,000. Members may inquire at Camp John Hay or its Manila office for details.
Spouse-dependents may play either as a member or as guest while children-dependents can only play as guests.
