Wongs do it right in Bill Shaw golf

The Wongs stood out in the 15th edition of the Bill Shaw Memorial golf tournament recently with Francisco Wong teaming up with Norberto Tolentino to clinch the overall crown at the east and west courses of the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
Wong and his guest partner Tolentino combined for a 12-under-par 60 in the scramble play at the west course and then failed a 10-under 134 in the aggregate play at the east for a two-day total of 194 in the 36-hole tourney presented by Samsung Electronics.
Another Wong, Damas, who was playing as a guest, grabbed a share of the major plum when he partnered with Gary Go in defending the low gross award. They a tallied 67 and 164, respectively, for a 221 total.
Elphege Wong, meanwhile, missed making it a triple victory for his family name when he and Severino Liao settled for second place in Group I.
