Bikers vie in Pres. Cup golf tourney at Aguinaldo

Bikers from all walks of life will gather for a different cause tomorrow at the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Club in Quezon City for the first ever staging of the LMFI (Luzon Motorcyclists Federation Inc.) Presidents Cup golf tournament.
Organized by the LMFI, the golf bash is aimed at raising funds to support the various civic action activities of the federation, which is under the aegis of the Philippine National Police Traffic Management Group.
The event is expected to provide high profile exposure to the supporters of the LMFI Civic Action Programs, which include distribution of relief goods, clothes and medicine to victims of calamities and the less fortunate; tourism promotion through motorcycling; social awareness and education.
The golfest is backed by LBS Telecoms Construction, Goldeed Development Corp., TGM Philippines, Traffic Management Group (TMG)/PNP, MetroConvergence, clubs and friends of the LMFI, ECI Phils., Pacific Palm Corp., Pilipinas Shell, L.E.R.A.P., Petrolino Inc. and BMW Motorrad Phils.
"This is our humble, noble way of showing that we are responsible citizens, who respond to the needs of the community, particularly the needy," said LMFI president Col. Fernando Pace.
