Second Logremara golfest slated at Club Intramuros

The second annual Lopez (Quezon province) Greater Manila Residents Association (Logremara) golf tournament will be held on Nov. 7 at the Club Intramuros course in Manila.

Logremara president Capt. Angel Osena expects more than 100 golfers to join the invitational amateur tourney. Proceeds from the golfest will go to the Logremara scholarship fund, which has so far produced 10 licensed professionals from the meritorious and deserving ranks of college graduates from Lopez, Quezon.

Logremara also undertakes a medical-dental outreach program featuring Operation Smile for harelip patients in its native town every year.

Logremara golf committee co-chairmen Sonny Penilla and Chichi Barros expect goft buffs from Quezon and Logremara friends to challenge Club Intramuros’ deceptive 18-hole course.

Trophies, raffle prizes and fellowship await all participants in the tourney, which was also hosted last year by Club Intramuros.
