CUSA ninth season gets underway at Astrodome

The ninth season of the Colleges and Universities Sports Association (CUSA) unfurls today at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City with Sen. Robert Jaworski as guest of honor in the opening rites at 9 a.m.

CUSA’s ninth season will be a highly anticipated event among its 12 participating member schools: Central Colleges of the Philippines (CCP); De Ocampo Memorial College (DOMC); De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU); Las Piñas Colleges (LPC); Manuel Luis Quezon, (MLQU); Metro Manila College (MMC); Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR); PMI Colleges; Saint Jude College (SJC); Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP); Trinity College Quezon City (TCQC); and the University of Assumption Pampanga (UAP). Athletic competitions are as follows: Basketball (Men, Women and Juniors), Volleyball (Men and Women), Soccer (Men), Table Tennis (Men and Women), Badminton (Men and Women), Chess (Men), Swimming (Men and Women).

This season will be hosted by PMI Colleges, the country’s pioneer institution in maritime and Customs administration education.
