Arcilla heads cast in Cebuana tennis

First leg champion Johnny Arcilla of the Air Force will spearhead the campaigners in the second leg of the P1 million Cebuana Lhuillier Tennis Circuit slated Aug. 18-24 at the Subic Bay International Tennis Center.
Arcilla, who will also banner the Philippine team in the Vietnam SEA Games in December, is eyeing his sixth straight singles title this year. He bagged the Presidents Cup last June and was champion in Subic (Coca-Cola Open), Bohol and Mandaue.
Expected to put up a strong challenge are fellow nationals Joseph Victorino, the 2002 PCA Open champion, Adelo Abadia, Michael Mora III and Rolando Ruel Jr., all veterans of the RP Davis Cup squad.
The 200,000 second leg, which is supported by Accel Sports, Head Penn, Le Soleil de Boracay, Oceanic 1911, All Care Insurance, Chris Sports Plaza and Kep Print., will award P30,000 to the singles champion and P17,000 to the doubles winners.
