Team Trust Trade-Taurus shooters dominate AFP Chief of Staff Cup

-
Team Trust Trade-Taurus shooter Leo Mangubat, using the Taurus PT92 caliber 9mm pistol, ruled the Production Division of the AFP Chief-of-Staff Cup Shooting Competition held March 31-April 5 at the Fort Bonifacio Firing Range in Taguig.

Teammate Rommel Cabungcal claimed runner-up honors in the level 3 match sanctioned by the International Practical Shooting Association.

The tournament drew 300 participants.

The victory duplicated the feat of Team Trust Trade-Taurus’ winning performance at the Chief PNP Cup Invitational Shooting Championship three weeks earlier.

Ever since Taurus’ entry into sports shooting a year ago, it has constantly won championship trophies and has remained unbeaten by any brand in 9mm production guns.

Taurus continuously hurdles courses of fire without stoppage or malfunctioning, thereby passing the test for endurance, reliability and accuracy that a shooting competition rigidly exacts from firearms.

Cabungcal earlier won in another level 3 competition, the Vice-Gov. Rogelio Roque’s Cup, also the Central Luzon area championship.

Other victories and top finishes posted by Mangubat and Cabungcal were in the Sonny Belmonte "SB" Cup, the CPD Director’s Cup, the PNPA Alumni Shoot, the Arceemak Founder’s Cup, Bolo Tuason Cup, and the PB Dionisio Shoot-for-a-Cause. Team Trust Trade-Taurus shooter, Alex Sintin, won the Abelardo Elias Miranda Cup.
