Lawyers’ fund-raiser golfest slated at Wack Wack

Swinging lawyers together with their sponsors and invited guests play for cause in the Philippine Bar Association Golf Invitational tomorrow at the west course of Wack Wack. Tee-off time is 8-11 a.m. after the 7 a.m. registration.

The organizing committee headed by Atty. Rolando dela Cuesta and tournament chair Atty Hector Martinez got the support of several companies to provide the prize package and boost the PBA funds in providing free legal aid to deserving indigents.

San Miguel Corp., Pagcor and GMA Network are the major sponsors. Aside from Directories Philippines Corp., Atty. Rodolfo Gamboa and Burlington Socks, the following law offices have come in as minor sponsors: Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose, Barcelona Barcelona & Magdamit, Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc & Delos Angeles, Planton Martinez Flores San Pedro & Leano, Castro Cadiz & Carag, Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz, Sycip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan and Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako.

The 18-hole tourney is among the highlights of the 112th Foundation Day of the Philippine Bar Association with the awarding rites to be held during the formal dinner at the Hotel Intercontinental.
