Canlas, Balce win Gullas Cup

Cebu City — Manila’s Christian Canlas downed Oswaldo Dumoran, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, to pocket the boys’ 16-under title in the eight Gullas Junior Tennis Cup at the Sancase Tennis Club and Cebu Country Club here last weekend.

Likewise, Canlas and schoolmate Mark Balce also bagged the 14-under Doubles (boys) division.

The Gullas Cup, a commitment to youth and sports by the sponsoring clan of Rep. Jose "Dadong" Gullas, Talisay Mayor Eddie Gullas, is a group 2-sanctioned event by the Philippines Tennis Association.
