Blu Star, Hapee dispute solo lead

Two teams representing different regions Luzons Blu Star Detergent and Vis-Mins Hapee Toothpaste clash for the solo lead today at resumption of the Sunkist-PBL 2003 Unity Cup at the Pasig Sports Center.
Tagged as title favorites, Blu Star and Hapee are noted for their defense and strategy making the 5 p.m. match a game to watch.
The Detergent Kings, the runners-up to Ateneo in last years Chairmans Cup, made it on top of the Luzon group following a 75-70 victory over LBC last March 30.
The Teeth Sparklers, who also finished runner-up to Welcoat in the 2002 Challenge Cup, took the lead in the Vis-Min division via a 69-59 win over Montana Jewelers the other night.
