Milo BEST listup on-going

Registration is in full swing for this summer’s program of Milo BEST Center, the country’s longest running basketball school, in five separate venues — Ateneo College covered courts, St. Benedict College, BF Homes Parañaque, San Beda College and Jose Rizal College.

Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays/Fridays at St. Benedict and BF Homes from April 1 to 25, Wednesdays/Saturdays at SBC and JRC from April 2 to 26 and on Mondays/Thursdays at Ateneo from April 3 to 28.

Organized in 1979 by former national coach Nic Jorge, Milo BEST Center graduates around 5,000 students every year through its program which also goes to Zamboanga, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Baguio, Pampanga, Lucena, Cabanatuan, Abra and Cavite.

Among its graduates are Shell coach Perry Ronquillo, Paolo Mendoza, Jerry Codiñera, Patrick Fran, Benjie Paras, Rey Evangelista, Jun Limpot, Poch Juinio, national cagebelles Julie Amos, Justine Bacarisas, Caroline Mindo and Emilia Vega and youth players Regina Velarde and Jessica and Jessamine Manalo.
