Taguig vs Shineway in title duel

Forward Taguig shocked fancied M. Lhuillier of Cebu, 87-86, while Ozamiz’s Shineway Ham Sausage crushed Mandaluyong’s Wang’s Ball Club, 94-74, Wednesday to arrange a showdown for the Luzon title of the National Basketball League’s first regional championship at the Tinga gym in Taguig, Rizal.

Veteran Ronnie Cahanding scored the winning basket for Taguig, while Egay Echavez, Steve Marucot and Jerry Jaca sparkled for Shineway with 18, 16 and 15 points, respectively.
