Martial arts up at PCCr

The Philippine College of Criminology Martial Arts Association will hold a Battle of Karate-Judo and martial arts exhibition tomorrow, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Justice Bautista Hall, fourth floor of the main building along Sales St., Sta. Cruz, Manila. It is part of the 49th Foundation Day celebration of the school.
Competitions in karate are among blackbelters and colored belts, while a whitebelt tournament will be conducted in the womens division in karate. For judo, a competition among whitebelters is scheduled.
Martial arts exhibition will include the aikido students of Omar "Boy" Camar; judo students of Profs. Balingit and Pio Labao; students of arnis kalis, escrima, espada y daga of Marpio Arnis Federation; boxing students of Prof. Antonio Agus and karate students of Virgo Villareal, a Western Police District (WPD) investigator and chief instructor of the PCCr Martial Arts Association.
Prof. Asterio Mancilla will deliver the welcome address while WPD-Homicide chief Chief Insp. Juanito Taluban will give an inspirational message.<
