Dayrit main guest at PSA Forum

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Celso Dayrit joins National Basketball Association (NBA) officiating guru Darrell Garretson and Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) technical chief Perry Martinez as guests in tomorrow’s PSA Forum at the Holiday Inn.

Dayrit is expected to talk about the country’s stint in this year’s Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam as well as its hosting of the biennial meet two years from now.

The ongoing seminar among the PBA’s current crop of referees will be discussed by Martinez and Garretson, who is the one in charge of the three-week camp.

The 10:30 a.m. public sports program is sponsored by Red Bull, Agfa Colors and Pioneer Insurance.

Meanwhile, the annual PSA election of officers will be held on the first Tuesday of March, according to president Bert Cuevas of the Manila Standard.
