LS Greenhills holds alumni ‘Drive For a Cause’

The La Salle Greenhills Alumni Association (LSGHAA) presents the "11th Drive For A Cause" golf tournament on Jan. 31 at the Legends Course of the Southwoods Golf and Country Club.

Tournament Chairman Peng Perez de Tagle announced that proceeds will go to the Adult Night High School of the La Salle Brothers. Tee-off time is from 6:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. The annual all-La Salle golf tournament will be hosted by LSGH High School Class 1978, silver jubilarians for this year’s grand homecoming.

"Show Me You’re Verde" is the title of this year’s homecoming which will be held on Feb. 1. at the La Salle Greehills campus along Ortigas Avenue. LSGH high school batches 1968, 1973, 1983, 1988, 1993 and 1999 are co-hosting the affair where more than 1,000 alumni are expected to attend.

Among the highlights during the show, hosted by Ralph Eigenmann (Mark Gil), Charlie Ysmael, and Maui Taylor, include recognition of high school batch ’78 teachers, donation to projects of the La Salle brothers, and presentation of the Gauntlet to the hosts of next year’s affair. Special guest performers include Mike Hanopol, Hot Legs dancers, and Angela Velez. The awarding ceremonies for the golf tournament will also be done during the general homecoming.
