The 20th Upsilonians Na Pumapalo tournament will be played next Jan. 17 at the posh Sherwood Hills Golf and Country Club in Trece Martirez, Cavite.
This was bared yesterday by Col. Abe Villanueva, the noted golf tournament organizer, who was reelected by his fellow Upsilonians as their chairman for the year 2003.
"Im inviting all my fellow brothers to join this championship," he said yesterday. "We expect all 140 members to take part in the one-day event.
"This is for a worthy cause. I would like to assure them that we will have fun. After the tournament, there will be a grand fellowship at the clubhouse."
Cavite Vice Gov. John Vic Remulla is helping Villanueva conduct the one-day tournament.
Banker Carlos Pedrosa is the new Upsilon Alumni Association chairman while Benny Fulgencio is the president for the year 2003.
The Upsilonians Na Pumapalo staged an 18-hole tournament earlier this year to help members who were retired and needed medical and financial help.
