RP clouters compete in Hong Kong invitational

The Philippines will compete in the third Zhujiang Cup international invitational tournament, which is organized by the Hong Kong Baseball Association headed by president Laurence Lee. The tournament is set Dec. 28 to Jan. 2.

All the games will be played at Yuen Long baseball stadium. The official hotel will be The Harbour Plaza Resort City. The hosting association will provide free board, lodging and local transportation to all the participating delegations composed of the teams from Taipei, Shenzen, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Tainjin.

Philippine Amateur Baseball Association president Hector Navasero will be the delegation head and team manager. The other officials are head coach Eladio Baradas, coach Edgar Delos Reyes and scorer/statistician Marcelina Baradas. The players are Ruben Angeles, Roy Baclay, Fernando Badrina, Ernesto Binarao, Christian Canlas, Marlon Caspillo, Ferdinand Recto, Roel Empacis, Wilfredo Hidalgo, Christopher Jimenez, Ricardo Jimenez, Charlie Labrador, Junifer Pinero, Virgilio Roxas and Alejandro Velasquez.
