With a total pot of more than P2.6-million at stake, the Philippine Racing Club, Inc. (PRCI) will host the much-awaited running of the Philracom Juvenile Championship and Hopeful Stakes Races as well as the Grand Sprint Championship.
In the P1.67-million Juvenile Championship, a dozen two-year-olds will vie for the years top juvenile title in a race set over 1,500 meters.
Multiple stakes winner High Octane heads the field and will come off an impressive victory in the recent Marho Breeders Cup Juvenile Colts. Standing in his way are Diktador, Security Master, Success Story, Arrivederci, Reigns Supreme, Speed Machine, Twister and Doña Gelay and upstarts Namaste, Uprising and Red Star Rising.
In the P500,000 Juvenile Hopeful Stakes Race, a similarly impressive field of 13 gallopers will dispute top honors over 1,500 meters. Ramon Romualdez
