"This tournament is TaylorMades way of saying thank you for the support and patronage of our products, enabling us to become one of the strongest brands in the industry today," TMaG business unit manager Ernest Paguia said.
The tournament also forms part of celebrations of the launching of TaylorMades newest line of clubs, the R500 series. Following on the footsteps of the successful 300 series, the R500 series is set to blaze a trail anew in the game with its new and advanced technologies and innovation.
To be participated in by loyal TaylorMade patrons and golf enthusiasts, the tournament would be a veritable gathering of golf aficionados in the country. Former president Fidel V. Ramos and Asian Tour 54th ranking player Gerald Rosales would lead the participants in the 18-hole tournament, together with showbiz personalities and leaders in the business community.
Similar tournaments will be held by other TaylorMade subsidiaries in other countries in Southeast Asia starting 2003.
