Nestea beach volley offers P.5-M purse

Nestea will be pouring out huge rewards for the toughest athletic tandems on Philippines shores when the seventh Nestea Beach volleyball university championship unravels next summer.
Aside from the fun and adventure that the tournament will surely offer, the countrys number one iced tea brand will serve up prizes amounting to over half a million pesos.
The eventual champion in each division will receive a whopping P100,000 as cash prize, while the runner-up and the third runner-up will receive P50,000 and P25,000, respectively. They will also receive trophies. The succeeding runners-up will all receive their own cash prizes and trophies.
As in the sixth edition of the tournament, Nestea is once again offering a special reward to the schools of the eventual championsP50,000 worth of sports equipment. The schools will be given the option to choose which type of equipment they will be awarded.
In the sixth edition of the tournament, the first recipients of these special prizes were womens division champion Adamson University and mens division champion, University of San Jose Recoletos-Cebu.
Nestea recently launched the search for the coming tournaments kings and queens as it opened the registration to all young athletes from all over the country last Oct. 21. Registration will go on until Dec. 2.
Interested participants must comply with the eligibility and registration requirements set forth by Nestea and the tournament organizers. All players must be currently enrolled in the college and/or university he or she is representing for school year 2002-2003.
Players must also be sent as duly assigned representatives of the school while each college or university may enter only one (1) team per division. Only two players from each division may be listed to represent their institution.
